Been busy, now I'm relaxing
and looking at how it is now.
Re: Capt. Frank's comments
on when is now, I realize that
in session, my "now" often is
everything since last session.
It's kind of like an emotional or
experiential IN BASKET. Sure, if
I processed everything instantly
I'd only have an empty OUT basket,
but things being as they are, I
accumulate unviewed constantly.

So in a direct sense *MY* NOW is
everything since my last review, as
*I* am the VIEWER, not the actor.

[thoughts drifting] on the way in
to town today, while I was singing,
*hey I felt like singing all the way!*
I was looking at foreground vs.
background issues on this being
broke thing. I've had so much
attention on being broke for so
long it's dominated my life badly.
Then recently I tried to focus my
attention on doing and teaching
ucp and put almost no attention
on doing something for money,
even though I was in disaster.
I was looking/predicting when I
would hexpire financially with
massive functional casualties,
[reread: Gosh! how much
energy can you put into
that and still function!
. . . I found out!]
but I focused somehow on how
much time I DO have, even if it's
only a few hours to disaster, or
whatever else comes along first.
So I would up focussing on what
I wanted, and just enough money
came along at just the St. Nick of
time to make the next step. WC!
It seems that by simply shifting
. . . Oooops!
did I say *shIFting?*
I guess I did!
my attention from the barriers
to the goal, the barriers shrank
and the goal was N-hanced! WC!
[yawn] lecturing on physics . . .
a place I might be . . . teaching
my understanding to others so
it doesn't get lost before I die
[snap to focus] or share it so it
can keep spreading faster now.
[reread: yes, I was mocking up
the threat of knowledge being lost,
rather than hexamingly closely all
opportunity to keep hexpanding it!]

Thoughts about the fence job.
Got the initial confusion sorted out.
We finally know where it will go,
and it won't have a gate. I got it
laid out and actually set two posts.
Got a check last week, paid my
phone bill, spent $100 on two
WC post hole diggers . . . which
I was THRILLED to have digging.
Went to CSS meeting today.
Bigger crowd again today.
Joel did questions today,
and said there was no
overall agreement on
maps of the path
among mystics.
Interesting!
They agree about a lot
of things, apparently
including the final result
of meditation or self
discovery, but not on
on a grand map of
the journey itself,
...if I understand.
Tom McFarlane was there
but I didn't talk to him. He
was engaged. I enjoyed the
meeting quite a bit. At one
time I was trying to follow
two or three conversations
at once, as I found them all
interesting. Usually NONE
of the conversations I hear
interest me. The CSS seems
to be jam-packed with intelligent,
literate, focused people DOING
self improvement through various
meditations. The non-dogmatism
is quite refreshing. They have
several styles of practice within
the CSS membership. Way Cool!
I went to the horse auction on
Holly's suggestion. She's looking
for a horse. I Really enjoyed it.
Lots of dogs, so I got Aggie out
of the van and brought her in to
meet horses and other dogs. I
really enjoyed her hexcitement!
She's hyper to start with, and
this was her ultimate circus!

stress level is down a lot lately.
[yawn] I thought that was a
result of this job, certainly
payment vastly helped, but
[yawn] maybe it's also part
cause of getting the job!

I still see nuclear war
coming right at me,
but at least my own
personal situation is
better in some ways
for the time being.

I'll enjoy it while I can!
Until I develop the
capacity to enjoy
whatever happens!
Then I'll enjoy everything.
Now I enjoy what I can.
