8:16 Attention doesn't seem
to be sticking on much at all.
Lots of stuff going on in my life.
Mostly things are moving forward.
Got the oil changed in my van for
the first time since I got it. Mobil
One 15-50 Extended Service and
new premium filter. $40+ for an
oil change, but I'm good to go for
the next 15,000 miles! Way Cool!
I got all the posts set for the fence,
and it's raining this week, so I get
some time off. I've had a bad sore
throat for close to a week now. I
finally seem to have it on the run
with agressive zapping and H2O2.
I saw that focusing on the problems
with my busted zappers prevented
me for taking action, but when I
shifted my attention to what I CAN
do, I used the sensor from a broken
cheapy to find some points, and a
awkward zapper without a point
finder to treat them. That was
still much less awkward than
choking on snot while trying
to get some overdue sleep.
It wasn't elegant, but
it worked well enough
to improve a bad scene.
Tom at the CSS actually spent a
few hours on Rado's last book!
He's reading the first one now!

Joel showed up last sunday
looking like a politician or
a minister: haircut, well-
tailored conservative dark
suit, blue shirt and tie.
He plays many roles well!
We had a memorial service
for Helen, mother of George.
She died last week. It was
quite charming. I'm really
hexcited that Tom is reading
Rado. He's not crowing about
*THE* breakthrough yet, but he
*IS* reading the heavy tech tome.

pretty good for me right now.
My personal circumstance are
mostly improving. The world
scene still grinds toward global
catastrophe, but *I* feel better.
I'm spending a lot of time online
reading world news and analysis.
8:42 I spend a lot more time on
trying to understand the hexteral
world than I do on sElf discovery
through UCP sessions. This sure
illustrates the "focus" issue: the
huge many-headed hydra threat
devouring "civilization" voraciously,
and threatening to kill it off soon,
VS. my response to that threat,
as well as my own originations,
and my curiousity about my
own hexperience, independant
of whatever hjexternal causes.
Sure, other people were brutes
to me, but I made the situation
much worse, rather than better,
for them, as well as for myself.
Everybody lost, including me.
8:51 I guess I feel the hexternal
world is the real threat, not my
spinternal hexperience. But I
also recall the worst things
ever done to me were done
BY me! My Errors abound!
On the other hand, I don't
need to be obsessed with
my many awful Errors.
I've also done a lot
of things quite right!
I'm wondering if I should
put more time into sessions
and less on studying the
ongoing genocide of freemen,
and it's planned rapid expansion.
Would that make global nuclear war
less of a threat to me personally?

Not really sure what to look at
or focus on. There is no current
desperate emergency that MUST
be handled Right Now . . . OR DIE!
I'm really not used to this!

Maybe it's looking for
Errors and things that
are wrong, instead of
how to WIN the Game
or accomplish my Goals!

my ideas in my personal metaphors,
I try to hexplain them in currenterms.

more flexible since then. It still took

if they ARE broken or inappropriate.
But I did eventually get there.
And I'm more conscious about
which aspect of any topic I am
prone to rant to mysElf about.
Some MAJOR Error must have
been harmonic'd in my focus
on problems and opposition
rather than opportunities,
or even multiple options.
When I saw that I
could let that go,
things shIFted!
There was no big snap, crackle or pop.
There was no thundering cognition to
celebrate. It was so smooth it didn't
really feel like any stunning event.
And yet my life is silently
different, and smoother!
