Feeling fairly centered now.
My aesthetic perception was
stressed by some of my least
favorite recurring problems.
Couldn't connect to the net.
Rain messed up the wires, as
usual. Spent hours trying to
fix them. Useless. Really
bummed out. Still can't
communicate at will. Put
my head down in my hands.
Gave up on trying to fix the wires.
Failure. Apathy. Decided that since
I couldn't fix the problem itself with
the resources I had then, I should
fix my bad reaction to the chronic
problem. Did a ucp session right
then. Located when I felt like
that before, and got a statement
out of the feeling: "This is Total
Bullshit!" Spotted it as a Lie and
Generality. That shifted my
attitude instantly. It took
about five hours for the
whole circle to evolve.
3+ of useless Effort,
and 2? of Looking.
Today my modem has
been working fine.
Go Figure.

Also had to deal with the
psychotic post office again.
I like the lady, she's quite
nice, but there's no way I
can get my mail sent from
one post office to another,
without forwarding it for
several weeks at a minimum
cost of $30. They just
don't do that. Anyway,
I found another way to
work around it, and
didn't get worked up.
I can't get my mail, but
I can do without for now.

Still looking at the placing
of my attention. When I
keep my eyes on the prIze,
as it were, I do better than
when I introvert into the
barriers and obstacles.
Sometimes I find them so
frustrating, or so interesting
that I forget what I was
trying to do when I ran
into the barrier instead.

I'm hardly flat on this, but
my learning curve is shorter,
and I have some interest now.
The rain seems to be easing off.
I cleaned the van out and loaded
the fence tools today. Maybe I
can get some fence installed now.
My attention has shifted back to
handling my hexternal problems.
